Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect the data you give us during onboarding (sex, age, height, weight, activity level, goal), the food, exercise and weight entries you log, and account data (email, hashed password). When you use the AI meal assistant or scan a nutrition label, the text or image you submit is processed by our AI provider.

2. How we use it

• Calculate calorie and nutrient targets.
• Show you your history and progress.
• Improve our shared food database (only product code, name, brand and macros — never your personal logs).

3. How we protect it

Your data is stored on managed infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. Database row-level security ensures no other user can read your entries.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with sub-processors strictly required to run the service (hosting, AI inference). We never share your personal logs with other users.

5. Your rights

You can export, correct or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible and removes your profile, logs and authentication record.

6. Children

Nutrivo is not intended for users under 13.
